DeWit failed “bribe” of Kari Lake shows how corrupt & dangerous U.S. politics has become. (Full recording included)

It probably happens all the time. But the ten minute tape of AZ GOP Chairman Jeff DeWit attempting to “bribe” Kari Lake by dangling a job offer from “back east” if she stays out of the US Senate race should be eye opening for anyone who was holding out hope that the system isn’t dangerously corrupted.

Jeff DeWit is currently the Chairman of the Arizona Republican Party and was the states former Treasurer before resigning to work for the Trump Administration. Kari Lake, who’s running for the US Senate in Arizona, has joined a growing chorus of people calling for DeWit to immediately resign. The state GOP holds its annual election of statewide officers this weekend in Phoenix.

GOP Chair on tape trying to bribe Lake not to run (Ep. 1807) Rep. Cook talks budget + the Hand Count Roadshow in AZ.

Starting HOUR 1 with a recording of the AZ GOP Chairman allegedly trying to bribe Kari Lake not to run for US Senate. Jeff and Mark share clips from the 10 minute recording from a Daily Mail article in which Jeff DeWit, AZ GOP Chairman and former Trump 2020 Treasurer, offered Lake a job from “powerful” people back east if she stayed out of the 2024 election. "Is there any companies out there or something that could just put her on the payroll to keep her out?”, DeWit asks. Lake repeatedly turns the offer down and at one point says she wouldn’t do it for a billion dollars. Listen to this recording, it is unnerving and at times even scary when Lake suggests DeWitt go public with who offered the bribe, to which DeWitt mentions being scared to start his car and be blown up by a car bomb. Lake also mentioned at one point that they “want to kill” her. 
 
Mark Cook from the Hand Count Roadshow discusses how America can fix its elections with simple tried and true, local elections.
 
In HOUR 2, Representative David Cook discusses the state budget and how ESA’s are not going away. He also discusses the need for rural infrastructure projects and his bid for the LD7 senate seat. 
 
Jeff and Mark discuss the Flagstaff Sustainability Department sucking up 5% of the city’s general fund and predict, nothing good or useful will come from this massive expenditure of tax payer funds.

I hit on 6 legislative bills including one that would eliminate the need for a permit for a tiny home I rural Arizona. The City of Flagstaff will discontinue offering the not “FREE”, free EV charging that cost taxpayers $25,000. The White House thinks illegal kids are more important than American kids. Hertz dumps EV’s for something consumers want, gas cars, who woulda thunk, and CPI hotter than expected, big shock!
