A team of archaeologists unearthed a simple wood structure along a riverbank in Africa. At the dig site, researchers found two bush willow tree logs that appeared to have been manipulated by ancient humans approximately 476,000 years ago. New Flagstaff Hospital Coming? Jeff talks with Steve Eiss of N.A.H.

Northern Arizona Healthcare wants to build a new “Health and Wellness Village”
 in Flagstaff and has purchased nearly 200 acres just South of Flagstaff. The Flagstaff City Council recently rezoned a portion of the property to allow the new hospital but a group (interview coming next week) got enough signatures to refer this to the ballot for the voters of Flagstaff to decide.
 
Steve Eiss discusses…
Details on the existing hospital including why he believes it isn’t practical to utilize the existing downtown site and remodel or add on to it.
The shortcomings on the current location including services and the size of available space.
Details on the new proposed “Health and Wellness Village” including the phase 1 plans for medical facilities and the phase 2 commercial and residential plans.
Infrastructure including the road to the new site.
