Former Flagstaff Mayor Jerry Nabours sits on the Commission on Appellate Court Appointments which selects the finalists for the Arizona Independent Redistricting Commission. Out of these finalists the five members of the commission, which sets Congressional and Legislative District lines, will be selected. You’ll learn more and know more about how district lines are drawn than most other Arizonans.  Who decides this, what criteria do they use to set districts, why do the lines jut all over the place.
