Celia Barotz talks PROP 487 & 488, a 69% public bus tax increase.

Former Flagstaff Vice-Mayor Celia Barotz discusses Prop 487 and Prop 488. The City Council is asking voters to consider passing Prop 487, an extension of Flagstaff’s 2% tax on restaurants, hotels and bars. They’re also asking for passage of Prop 488 which would raise the city’s transit tax for public busses by 69%. Can people who live in Flagstaff and who are already facing the high cost of one of Arizona’s most expensive cities afford these taxes?
